| Our Art focus this half term is 3D. We have made bowls using balloons and brown tape dipped into water. This took us several attempts as we found our first bowls were not strong enough. We reflected upon this and decided to use at least 4 layers of tape to ensure our bowls were more sturdy. We also added a base using rolled up newspaper to make our bowls sit neatly and look more aesthetic. | |
| | Next we primed the bowls so they were ready to be decorated. We then explored the work of Howard Hodgkins and replicated some of his beautiful, bold designs. |
Finally, we painted our beautiful our favourite Howard Hodgkins' design onto our pots.
The results are vibrant and look really effective together. Well done Hamilton class!
