In Science we are now looking at "mini worlds" we have to use microscopes and magnifying glasses to explore objects in new ways.
We were very lucky because Mrs Matthews brought in a microscope for us to use. We also used magnifying glasses to observe different parts of us. We had to draw detailed pictures and described what we saw. We loved learning about Florence Nightingale during our Hospitals topic last half term.
We were very lucky to have Miss Thurlow's uncle come in to visit us. He is a paramedic in the army and he taught us how to use bandages and the importance of first aid. In science we are thinking about keeping healthy.
Today we looked at being safe on a bike. We thought about the different elements of a helmet and the job of a helmet. We then designed our own egg helmets and tested them out. Unfortunately we have lots of members of our class off ill at the moment. We hope they are all feeling better soon.
