In maths we have been measuring the length of dinosaurs in meters and feet. We learnt that the school field is nearly 27 meters the same as a diplodocus. We then compared the different sizes to the length of cars and buses.
We have also been learning about the job of a palaeontologist and how they have to be careful when removing bones. We thought about how tricky this may be and tested it out on cookies. We had to remove all of the chocolate chips from the cookie without breaking it. I think the children were in more of a hurry to eat them!
