Today we went to Harry Potter Warner Bros. Studio Tour. We had fabulous day, a great end to the week! After a very long night (with very little sleep) we had a quiet day at school. Strawberry picking in the morning and designing and swimming in the afternoon.
After a busy day at Pleasurewood Hills (and popping home for a quick shower) we all came back to school to have tea together, watch movies and have a sleepover..... although to be honest not much sleeping went on!!
Today was very busy, we went to Pleasurewood Hills and then had tea and a sleepover. It was great fun going on all the rides, especially the scary ones! Today we went boating at Thorpeness and had a picnic and fun on the beach. It was lovely sunny day, we all enjoyed ourselves and behaviour was impeccable (members of public commented on how lovely our children are!) - a great start to the week! We even had the chance to sing 'Messing About in Boats' from our show Wind in the Willows'. Such fun! Today Mandela yet again worked hard for team TSM! In the morning the Y6s helped with Key Stage One's Sports Day helping it to run smoothly. Everyone did such a great job. Parents and staff from all classes commented on how kind and helpful everyone was, supporting the Key Stage One children. Well done! After a great picnic lunch on the field with our families, in the afternoon it was Mandela's turn as they took part in Key Stage Two's Sports Day. There were lots of winners, but most importantly lots of great sportsmen and women cheering each other on. Good use of these Learning Gems:This week we have been learning about coordinates in Mathematics, after learning the skills we decided to apply them by playing Battleships. This was great fun! The next day we decided to play Giant Battleships in large groups, drawing our own grids on the playground! Good use of these Learning Gems: |
