All of Key Stage 2 (almost 100 children) went to Kirton Rec today for an end of term treat! Everyone had a great time and an ice cream. Yum! Mandela wowed the crowd tonight with their outstanding performance of Wind in the Willows. Well done guys!! Today in our Science lesson (on The Life Cycle of Plants) we were looking at Seed Dispersal. We made our own helicopters (sycamore seeds) and looked at how fast or slow they fell to the ground if you altered their size. It was great fun!! Area Sports on Thursday was great. We took around 50 children from Y6, Y5, Y4 and Y3. All the children were in good spirits (despite walking all the way to Trimley St Mary School). Everyone performed well on the day and as a result we came 2nd! Very impressive!
This is a message from Felixstowe Academy:
Here are the lists of children and the groups they will be in during the induction day at Felixstowe Academy. On Monday they must remember this number as it will help them to know exactly where they need to go. With over 200 pupils arriving on Monday this will make the initial part of the day much easier. We have tried to ensure every pupil has at least 1 friend. Unfortunately the email reached us too late so we were unable to pass on the message. Sorry!
