All children in the Red Team are allowed to come to school on Friday in non-school uniform. Congratulations to the Reds! Our recent trip to Clip ’n Climb was an exciting and memorable experience for everyone involved! Pupils had the opportunity to challenge themselves on a variety of climbing walls, testing their confidence, determination and resilience. From reaching new heights to encouraging friends from below, it was fantastic to see so much support and teamwork throughout the session. There were plenty of smiles (and a few wobbly moments!) as everyone pushed themselves to try something new. It was a great way to build confidence, develop problem-solving skills, and most importantly, have lots of fun. A big thank you to the Rotary Club for organising this brilliant experience. Opportunities like this make a real difference and create lasting memories for our pupils. Well done to everyone who took part! We had a fantastic time celebrating World Book Day at school, with a day full of fun, imagination and a love of reading! Everyone made a brilliant effort dressing up as their favourite book characters. From classic stories to modern favourites, it was wonderful to see so many creative costumes around school. The excitement of recognising characters and sharing stories made the day even more special. Throughout the day, we enjoyed spending time reading our favourite books, sharing them with friends and talking about why we love them. It was a great opportunity to discover new stories and recommend books to each other. One of the highlights was our book swap, where pupils brought in a book from home and exchanged it for something new to read. This was a fantastic way to encourage everyone to try different authors and genres, helping us all to develop our love of reading. World Book Day reminded us just how enjoyable reading can be. We are already looking forward to next year! Our Under 11 football team recently took part in an exciting football festival, competing against five other school teams in a morning full of energy, teamwork and great sportsmanship. The team, made up of both boys and girls, worked brilliantly together throughout the matches. They showed excellent determination, supported one another, and demonstrated fantastic team spirit in every game. It was wonderful to see such positive communication and encouragement on and off the pitch. Playing against a variety of teams gave everyone the chance to develop their skills, build confidence, and most importantly, enjoy the game. There were some great goals scored, strong defending, and impressive teamwork on display across the morning. A big thank you to the Felixstowe Rotary Club for organising such a well-run and enjoyable event. Opportunities like this are invaluable for helping pupils experience competitive sport in a fun and inclusive environment. Well done to all involved! |
