This year, we are delighted to be celebrating the fact that our school is 150 years old! As part of these celebrations, we will be holding a Victorian Day on Thursday 9th October.
On this special day, school will run as if it were 1875. The children will take part in lessons such as reading, writing and arithmetic, with no modern technology in use (apart from our interactive boards, which we’ll transform into “chalkboards” for the day).
To help bring the experience to life, children are invited to come dressed as Victorian schoolchildren – and staff will be joining in too!
It promises to be a fun and memorable way for the children to step back in time and experience what school life might have been like 150 years ago.
