Want to see Trimley St Martin Robotics Club in action? Pop along to the Leisure Center in Felixstowe on Sunday 14th October. Mr Edwards and some of our children will be demonstrating their programmed robots. Some of our children from previous events.....
Children and staff had a fabulous time learning about World War One for our Red, White and Blue Day. The day was finished off with our very own street party with ration food and WW1 songs. We also raised £122.25 for the Red, White and Blue charities- Thank you! Teams from Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 travelled to Causton Junior School for the annual Paarlauf competition. (A continuous relay race first introduced to Felixstowe by Mrs Maynard over 25 years ago: ex teacher from Trimley St Martin). Each team has to run continuously for a set period of time and each run is counted and the school with the most runs is the winner. Year 3= 5 minutes Year 4= 8 minutes Year 5= 10 minutes Year 6= 12 minutes. After lots of determination and great efforts from everyone who took part: 3rd with 187 runs- Causton 2nd with 192 runs- TS Martin 1st with 197 runs- TS Mary Well done Trimley St Mary!!! It was also really nice to have received a lovely email from Trimley St Mary, who congratulated the children on their efforts and also how we celebrated the success of ourselves and the other teams with such sportsmanship and respect. Well Trimley St Martin- You make us all proud! Our School Games Spirit Achievements
