We had a fantastic time celebrating World Book Day at school, with a day full of fun, imagination and a love of reading!
Everyone made a brilliant effort dressing up as their favourite book characters. From classic stories to modern favourites, it was wonderful to see so many creative costumes around school. The excitement of recognising characters and sharing stories made the day even more special.
Throughout the day, we enjoyed spending time reading our favourite books, sharing them with friends and talking about why we love them. It was a great opportunity to discover new stories and recommend books to each other.
One of the highlights was our book swap, where pupils brought in a book from home and exchanged it for something new to read. This was a fantastic way to encourage everyone to try different authors and genres, helping us all to develop our love of reading.
