We had 5 different activities set up in the classroom, and moved around each of them.
The activities we had were:
* Sweet buying - The children were allowed to buy of sweets using some money. Each packet of sweets had a price ranging from 5p to £10. The children had to find the correct amount of money they needed for the 'transaction'.
*Money bingo - The children each had a bingo board with prices on. The bingo caller called out a price and the children had to identify if they had that amount on their board. The first to cover all their prices shouted BINGO!
*Money matching - Matching coins to their written value.
*Money making - Using money, the children had to make the amount written on the flashcards. *Money matching - The children had to match coins to their written value.
*Money Twister - A caller added two prices together and the children had to 'swat' the correct answer which was on the circles of the mat.
