The different layers are the river bed, sand, dust, mud, rocks and boulders and clay. Branson had white bread, brown bread, cottage cheese, raisins and sutanas, jam and crushed crackers to make their sandwiches.
In Science, Branson have been learning about rocks. This week we were focusing on the different types of rocks - igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary. Branson learnt about the many different layers of sedimentary rocks by making sandwiches! The different layers are the river bed, sand, dust, mud, rocks and boulders and clay. Branson had white bread, brown bread, cottage cheese, raisins and sutanas, jam and crushed crackers to make their sandwiches. Sedimentary rocks get compressed over time. We squashed our sandwiches to see what would happen to the layers!
