Today, a winner was picked from each class for consistently reading 5 times a week during the previous term.
All the names of the children who did this were written on a raffle ticket, and picked out of a box, and our class winner was.......GRACE!......Well done Grace, what a great choice of book too!

Remember, to be in with a chance of winning their own book for this term, children need to be reading 5 times each week, and this needs to be recorded in their yellow reading record. It does not always need to be their school reading book either, it may be a picture book, a newspaper, a magazine....or even reading road signs!.....whatever it is, we need to see it written down please.
