We have been working really hard on our report writing in English and have produced some fantastic information books all about Nelson Mandela. Our target audience was Year 4 so today we had a chance to read them to them.
Today we had our first lunch with our YR buddies. As you can see we had a great time!
We have been learning about BIDMAS and how to use the order of operations (BIDMAS) to solve calculations.
GOOD USE OF THIS LEARNING GEM:
We visited the burial mounds where we added photos of some of the unearthed artefacts.
In the exhibition we dressed up as Anglo-Saxons, played a game, felt the weight of a sword and shield and watched some videos.
We used clay to make our pots. Blending made the pots smooth. some of us scratched designs into our pots. Pots were sometimes used as urns.
Our finished Pots
Once we were back at school we decorated our pots.
