Today, we began our lesson by refreshing our memories of Goldsworthy's work, looking at some of his fantastic work. The children continued to be amazed by his work with Rupert even saying "Andy Goldsworthy has a special gift like no-one else" - and many of us agreed.
Once we had agreed on a design, we all went outside on the field with our zip-lock bags and then it was time to get creating! We carefully emptied our bags and began to place our natural items in a spiral. After a short while our spiral began to take shape. When we had all ran out of items....we explored the field looking for more to add to it. We could of kept going and going! Once we had finished our spiral of natural items....we added ourselves into the spiral!
Mrs Tubby and Ms Henson were super impressed with our creativity and teamwork! Amazing Goldsworthy work Year 1!
