Every Friday morning we have been completing a session of cosmic yoga. Its been a great start to the day for all of us! It gets us in a calm, relaxed mood for the rest of the day.
In PSHE this week we have been learning about our emotions, how to express them and when we might feel them. We used our Go-Giver characters Mitali and Anna and their story of how they were feeling to help us think about what we should do if we ever feel worried, sad, angry, upset and cross. The children got to spend a lot of time talking with their peers to think about who they could talk to when they are feeling lots of different emotions. We gave the children some strategies to cope with the feelings and find the correct words to describe how they feel. As one of our rainbow activities the children had to look at the emoji and think about what emotion it was representing and write about a time when they have felt that emotion.
