We presented our activities from our science week in a whole school assembly. We learned about the results of plastic pollution on creatures in the ocean showing off our turtles and jellyfish that we made from plastic bottles.

As part of our RE we have worked together as a whole class to make a picture showing the Creation story.
We have started our new RE unit about Judaism by making our own small scrolls and flags to learn about the Torah.
This week we finished our history topic of what holidays were like in the past by recreating our own seaside from the past with donkey rides, a Punch and Judy Show, bathing machine, boats and ice cream stall.
Today during our maths lesson we made a human clock with ourselves as numbers and hands to tell the time to the hour, half past, quarter past and quarter to.
Today we have made paper chains in preparation of our celebration outdoors for the coronation of King Charles III. We have also made mosaic pictures of the king to celebrate.
We have just begun our new maths topic about Fractions. This week we have been learning about halves and quarters. We have been using lots of maths equipment to help us understand these fractions. We also had a challenge to prove whether even or odd numbers will half!
Our topic this half term is coming to an end as we are learning about hygiene and germs. We experimented to see how far a sneeze could travel and how germs can stay on our hands using hair gel and glitter to see. Good use of these learning gems
Continuing with our topic of keeping healthy we have looked today at staying safe on the road and whilst cycling. We used hard boiled eggs to experiment how different materials may be suitable for a cycle helmet. Good use of these learning gems
