Our wonderful PTA members who worked hard ALL day Mrs Woodcock and her team for our packed lunches All Midday supervisors for making sure we didn't leave a mess Mr Childs for all your hard work Mr Barnard- Music maestro and for staying behind to tidy away Mrs Henson- Sports Day photographer and for staying to tidy away Miss Blewett for volunteering to help today and for providing the Race for Life medals and then for staying behind to tidy up Year 6 for running the KS 1 events Miss Winton, Miss Thurlow, Miss Rushbrooke, Mr Last and Mr Barnard for coming in early to set up All staff for making my first sports day, one to remember Oh and me for just being fabulous!! (sorry if I have forgotten anyone, its 7.30pm and I am going home..... Year 6 parents can now pre-book their tickets for the production of Alice in Wonderland on Wednesday 12th July.
Follow the link below We have had a very busy and successful week, with Year 5 and Year 6 away on visits and adventure residentials. However while they have been away, someone has decided to scrape off the paint in the girls toilets. I will be talking about vandalism in assembly on Monday. Congratulations to Britannia School in Ipswich for winning this years event with 1860 points. A massive well done the children of TSM who came 13th out of 64 teams with 1527 points.
To celebrate the launch of the ECB All Stars Cricket programme, 'Notts Sports' are teaming up with B3 Cricket to give children aged 5-8 the opportunity to see their cricket bat vision come to life! Simply draw your idea – it can be anything – on to the cricket bat template, and one lucky winner will be chosen to have their design made into a real cricket bat to keep. Please submit your designs to [email protected] by the 30th June. the winner will be announced by 15th July.
Another amazing sporting effort from pupils of Trimley St Martin. 11 children from Year 5 and 6 attended the annual Quadkids event at Northgate High School Sports Arena. Representing South Africa, in long distance running, sprinting, Vortex Howler throwing and standing long jump. Every member of the team gave their best and we are awaiting the final times and distances for each event. A super thank you to parents who came along and a MASSIVE thank you to Mrs Lawrence & Mr Childs who supported the children throughout the event. Well done!!!!!!!!!!!!
