School Games Mark Criteria- 2017-18 |
TRIMLEY ST MARTIN PRIMARY SCHOOL |
Throughout the year, we will be working to retain our Gold Sports Mark The School Games Mark is a government led awards scheme launched in 2012 to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community. Participating in this process allows schools to evaluate their PE provision and assists them in developing an action plan for future progress. School Games registered schools are eligible to apply once a year during an application window, which traditionally takes place during the summer term, and are graded against set criteria. The Lions have invited children that sang on the Everlasting Light project last year to come and sing at the triangle for part of the lighting up day on Saturday 2nd December. This will mean children currently in years 4,5&6. The performance is from 3:40pm to 4:10pm – they will need to arrive at 3:30pm to prepare. Parents are asked to stay there for the duration and be responsible at all times. If this is you, come and collect a letter from the office and return by Thursday 23rd November.
