Sports @ TSM Day Camp Oct Half Term 2021
Day: Monday 25th October 2021 Time: Full day 9:30 - 3:00, Half day 9:30 - 12:00 Cost Per Day: £15 Full day, £10 Half day. The day will include a range of sports delivered by qualified coaches. The variety of sports will depend on the children’s interests and the weather on the day. All coaches are CRB/DBS checked and first aid trained. The day will run from 9:30am till 3:00pm and is open for children between the ages of 4-11. All children will need to bring a packed lunch along with suitable clothing and footwear for a variety of sports for the time of year. Some activities may include football and hockey so it is advised that your child brings shin pads for safety reasons. To book please use the booking form sent out via ParentMail. Congratulations to all our winners!The children were challenged to fill a shoe box with as many different items as possible... our top fillers each received a certificate and prize. congratulations to our top filler who filled her box with 160 different items!A special mention for collecting items from a litter pick!! As part of this we aim to fulfil the School Games Sports Mark each year. In our first few years we achieved the Silver Mark and in our last three years we achieved and maintained the Gold Mark. With Covid the normal running of PE and competition against other schools has been very different but with the hard work of the School Games team, Mr Childs, Mrs Ross and the children we have achieved the School Games Framework for 2020-2021!!!!! We aim to maintain our Gold Mark award this year and next year before we are eligible to qualify for the possibility of achieving the Platinum Mark. "Get Suffolk Reading" has been set up to inspire families across the Suffolk to read together, and helps parents to support children’s literacy skills. To celebrate the launch of Get Suffolk Reading the Literacy Trust are giving every child in Key Stage Two a free book. Every child that collects their free book will also be entered into a prize draw to win a stack of books as tall as their teacher to share with their class!
