Jot the friendly robot is an emotional wellbeing campaign hosted by Suffolk County Council's Children and Young People's Engagement Hub Team, and JG Mind Doodles, in partnership with NHS Suffolk and North East Essex Integrated Care Board. The campaign is aimed at primary-school-aged-children, where Jot the friendly robot gives tips to children about things they can do to feel better when they are feeling sad or worried.
The CYP Engagement Hub team has released a new animation of Jot the friendly robot for children to view online, and this month it’s a Halloween special. Attendance in primary schools was 95.4%; secondary schools 91.8% and special schools 87.7%. Our school attendance for the Autumn 1/2 term was 95.3%. Although just below the Suffolk average we are aiming for a target of at least 96-97%. GOOD ATTENDANCE IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE:
A group of super talented footballers along with Mr Childs and Mrs Redbond ventured to Whitton Sports Centre in Ipswich and took part in the U11 7 v 7 School Games football tournament. Out of 16 teams TSM came 4th after a tense penalty shoot out.
