Each year in November, we celebrate what it is to be a good friend. This year our theme for the week is "Choose Respect". Supported by the Anti-Bullying Alliance, we want to celebrate friendship and conquer unfriendliness!!! As part of this we have our yearly "Power for Good" Awards. Children and parents can nominate anyone from the school community (children, teachers, school staff) to receive a "Power for Good" certificate for recognition of being a good friend or going above and beyond to support someone. The child with the most nominations will be presented with a book voucher. Nominations can be placed below using the form.... Friday 16th November is non-school uniform- wear something BRIGHT and ODD SOCKS!! Today in Assembly we had a special visit from Bev from The Wild Life Trust. Along with 299 other schools, The Wild Life Trust have kindly donated a very special book.... The Lost Words by Robert MacFarlane
To celebrate 25 Years of Trimley St Martin School Association: TSM are holding their very own 80's/90s Disco!!
Six children from Year 6 have been going to Causton Junior School each Thursday morning to take part in an exciting Computing session ran by Michael Applegate (Games designer & Computing Teacher). The children so far have been taught how to create characters, platforms and objects to collect. In the coming weeks, they will be designing and programming their own backgrounds and story sequences, which will then be made into their very own playable arcade games!
Over 63 Reception Classes including Trimley St Martin will be in the Evening star/Ipswich Star on Wednesday 17Th October.
