This week, we look at sources and whether Vikings would do just anything for money. We discovered that the Vikings settled in areas that would give them things of worth to trade. The Vikings traded everything from walrus tusks, to silver and gold; to spices and silks. Using the sources, they learnt that some Vikings tended to their fields in some parts of the year, and plundered and murdered at others. So far, from what the children have learnt, the Vikings have lived up to their fearsome reputation.
