Children arriving after the flexible opening time (8:45-9am) will need to enter the school through the front office.
On arrival children will now need to complete a simple log sheet to indicate that they have entered the school after the school gates have closed. The log requires their initials and a tick box to show what class they are in. At 9:15 once all of the children are in school, Mrs Simpson will then cross reference the class registers with the 'after the gate has closed' log to make sure the registers are correct.
Children will be shown in assembly how easy it is to complete the log. Children who struggle to complete the log will be supported by Mrs Simpson in the office.
