Today 7th September the children were invited to take part in the project in an 'Everlasting Light' assembly.
Everlasting Light is a fantastic opportunity for children in School years 3 – 6 (age 7-11) across Suffolk to get involved in making a difference to the lives of other people through this great project.
The children will all be featured (and credited!) on a professionally recorded CD, a music DVD and be able to perform in a live concert at the Spa Pavilion in Felixstowe in December. The event is to help raise over £50,000 for water & sanitation projects with communities in South West Uganda through the charity Tearfund. There are 60 schools taking part and we are one of them.
A leaflet with full details about the event went out today. You can even start learning the songs by heading off to the website.
