At Trimley St Martin, we are trying to expose children to a range of sports; to see what they are about and how they can get involved.
During assembly this morning, children who attend the SD Martial Arts club based here at TSM, showed the school the moves they have been practising and working on during the karate club. The group, who were accompanied by their main instructor, also discuss where karate came from and what is original purpose was.
The children really enjoyed the presentation and some actually got involved!
Leaflets were handed out to the children who showed interest in possibly taken up karate. This is not the only karate club to be based in the area, however, this club takes place at this school on Monday and Friday's and so would be ideal if any child was interested in attending.
