The train leaves Platform 9¾ (aka Felixstowe Library) at 6pm and there will then commence an evening of storytelling and magical activities as we celebrate everybody's favourite boy wizard. Have a go at making potions, be sorted into a house, choose a wand (or maybe it will choose you), make some traditional wizarding refreshments and much much more. We'll be joined by characters from the books and you are invited to wear your best robes for the occasion.
This is the second year that Bloomsbury Publishers have invited groups to hold Harry Potter Book Night celebrations and this year your local Book Festival and Library were determined not to miss out on the fun! We will be transforming the library and opening it especially for this event.
Tickets are available from Felixstowe Library and cost £5. The event will run from 6-8pm and is recommended for ages 7+ with all children accompanied by an adult (not required to have a ticket themselves and we will allow entry to muggles). You may want to bring some money to spend in Diagon Alley. Please visit www.felixstowebookfestival.co.uk, ring 01394 694880 or send an owl to Felixstowe Library for more info.
