Over the next few months, you will continue to see this school evolve, develop and improve. Please continue to come along to Parent View and share your views - its important to receive your feedback at these meetings. I'm not saying I can solve every problem / concern that is raised but if its brought to my attention I'm much more likely to be able to address it if I know of its existence.
Since the OFSTED Inspection in December, the staff at Trimley St Martin have been addressing any issues that arose as well as gaining confidence from the acknowledgement that improvements we have made are making a difference. Our main aim at the moment? To have addressed any issues before April, with a view to start working towards to Outstanding from April onwards. The new school development plan, which will be completed ready for April, will be a three year development plan designed to build on the successes that we have had over the last few years whilst continuing to improve and address things that we haven't got quite right yet! Its a long process and things wont change over night. Three years is a reasonable amount of time to work towards and improved judgement. We are keen as staff to continue the momentum that we have created and we have no intentions of becoming complacent. Our feet remain firmly on the pedals! Although the above paragraph focuses on the OFSTED view of us, our aim is to provide our children with the absolute best! The OFSTED grading is purely an indication of progress towards this... what is most important is for our children to be successful, confident and skilled up for the next stage in their education.
