In order to inspire children to read more at home we continue to promote reading in a number of different ways. Classes now have multiple copies (15x) of class texts so that they can read along with the class teachers. The reading scheme has been developed further in to KS2 and in assemblies each week staff are reading parts of books to help develop interest in them. The books will be added to the prize box, so if children read at home 5x week they will be in the running to win one… however, if your child is excited about a book they have been read in assembly you can get hold a copy quite easy from an online retailer, in high street shops and in some supermarkets.
