All pupils grabbed their flags and waiting outside school this morning to line the line the route of Women's Cycling Tour that passed right past the school. The pupils cheered on the cyclist who were travelling and quite an amazing speed. It was a great opportunity for all of the children to witness top quality sport right before their very eyes!
To mark the start of the race, two girls from Mandela Class were invited, along with Mrs Matthews, to lead the start of the race in Felixstowe. The girls then pulled over to the side to watch the Women's race begin! the girls did their fair share of cycling; they cycled with Mrs Matthews to Seafront and back again in order to take part!
What a great experience!
