We had a superb inroduction to our new topic of Length and Perimeter. To help our understanding of Perimeter each group worked together to measure the Perimeter of our playground.   We worked hard together as a team to measure the playground using lots of co-operation and group discussion to work together.

We had a great time, solving the problem of how to order 43 Chicken Nuggets. We tries every combination usin 20, 9 and 6. We love fun mathematics problem solving and reasoning.
We definitely used both concentration gem and Co-operation gem to help us solve our mathematics problem solving today.
We used our electric circuit this week to test various materials to decide if they were conductors of electricity or insulators.We then went on to test lots of different circuits. Firstly we predicted which ones would light the bulb up then we tested them out.  We have used the Concentration Gem to work carefully with our electric circuit. We alo used the Co-operation Gem to work together to test out our ideas together.
