We celebrated outdoor classroom day today by taking our maths lesson outside. We were practising rounding decimals to the nearest whole number and made a human number line to help us. The class then spread out across the field to complete their independent work. In the afternoon, we went outside again to make clouds in a jar and then to act out the life of a water droplet in the water cycle. Today we made ice cream in science to investigate how materials change from a liquid into a solid. Most groups enjoyed their ice cream, although for some it wasn't quite as solid as it should have been! We followed this by writing instructions on how to make the ice cream.
Today, after we had carried out an investigation into the temperature at which chocolate melts, we found a different way to report back our findings. We hope you enjoy watching the clips as much as we did making them!
