Five workshops ran in total; Robotics, Crime Scene Maths, Improving Sporting Performance, Art & Literacy and a Romeo & Juliet drama workshop.
The workshops were run by senior staff at the school, our sports coach, robotics instructor and Mrs Batham from a local Secondary gave up her time to teach the year 6 children about Shakespeare.
95 children in total attended the event from the 7 Felixstowe and Trimley Schools.
The learning that took place was amazing! The quality of work was exceptional!
Thank you to parents who gave up their Saturday morning to bring their children to the event.
Thank you to the staff and friends of the school who gave up their time to lead these workshops.
Thank you to Felixstowe and Trimley Schools for supporting this event.
And... most importantly - thank you to the children for getting out of bed on a Saturday morning to go to school. We hope you enjoyed your morning with us and learned lots! Behaviour was exceptional!
I will report back today's success to other Headteachers in Felixstowe and hopefully we can make this happen again soon! Please add your comments to this blog and let us know what school you are from!
It was a real pleasure to have your children here at our school! Apologies that the parking was so dire!
Thank you...
