 | Children warming up for Romeo and Juliet drama |
Today was the first, in what is hoped to be, a series of enrichment workshops for children in Felixstowe and Trimley. Children were selected from all of the Felixstowe and Trimley Primary Schools to attend workshops run by our school which were designed to extend and challenge the children's learning.
Five workshops ran in total; Robotics, Crime Scene Maths, Improving Sporting Performance, Art & Literacy and a Romeo & Juliet drama workshop.
The workshops were run by senior staff at the school, our sports coach, robotics instructor and Mrs Batham from a local Secondary gave up her time to teach the year 6 children about Shakespeare.
95 children in total attended the event from the 7 Felixstowe and Trimley Schools.
The learning that took place was amazing! The quality of work was exceptional!
Thank you to parents who gave up their Saturday morning to bring their children to the event.

And... most importantly - thank you to the children for getting out of bed on a Saturday morning to go to school. We hope you enjoyed your morning with us and learned lots! Behaviour was exceptional!
