Welcome back everyone!
We have had a fantastic start in Pendleton class, beginning our new topic on Ancient Greeks. In history this week, first of all we found out where Greece is and then put some of the key events for the Greeks on a timeline. Later on in the week the children were given a large rectangular sheet of fabric, a sash and some instructions explaining how to make Ancient Greek clothing. They worked fantasitcally in teams and here are some of the results!

We also started our DT lessons by tasting some Greek food, in readiness for making sandwiches with a Greek flavour. Most of the flavours were new to all of us but we tried them with interest! Some of the tasting was even caught on camera! Do you think we liked what we tried?
