The class have worked really hard today as well as working on apostrophes in Literacy they have been solving multiplication problems using the new written method they have been learning and also completing their DT books.
Here they are working on their maths problems. They worked in 3s - 1 was the designer explaining the calculation that needed to be solved, 1 was the purchaser gathering the right numbers to help solve the sum and 1 was in production actually solving the sum. All groups worked so well together showing a great understanding of the written method.
In DT, this was the final week to work on their group booklets.
Groups have worked so well on this task, using their practice levers and linkages to help them make different parts of their books move. It was great to see some children communicating so well with each other and a special mention must go to Georgia who took time out from her own group work to explain to someone in another group how to make their parts move. Well done to all of you, we've just got to find a safe way to show them off in school now!
