We made ice cream in science today! The children discovered how to make ice cream without using a freezer. The hard work of having to shake a bag full of ice and salt, which had another bag of milk, sugar and vanilla extract safely stored inside it, paid off when they were able to open up the bags and find the milk mix had been turned from a liquid into a solid, and they were able to it it. Yummy :)

What fantastic fun! Matilda really enjoyed this lesson. It is great to see all the practical science you have been doing in Year 4. Thank you Mrs Hayter for making the learning so much fun (and tasty!)
