A very warm welcome to all the children and parents of Simmonds Class. Both Mrs Campbell and I are looking forward to the different topics we will work on over the year. What a fantastic year to be in Simmonds class, with Ellie Simmonds taking part in the paralympic games at the moment. We are taking full advantage of this and will be writing about her and some of her events in literacy this half term.
The children have already watched a clip about the paralympic games, coming up with some fantastic words and phrases to explain how they felt watching it. We hope they continue to be inspired by these athletes and produce some amazing pieces of work this year.
