Continuing with our learning about Early Civilisations and The Stone Age, we learnt about the different ways in which people dressed during this time. Both in school and at home we made 'bone' necklaces from salt dough.
During STEM this week the children made marble mazes both at home and in school, using paper plates and straws or other similar items that they could find. Here are some of the examples of their creations.
On Friday during our STEM lesson we had a go at making a paper horse 'walk' down a slope. Using a template we cut and folded our horses, trying out different slope surfaces for each one to walk down. Our friends at home made some of theirs walk too.
Today we have started our new topic about Paddington Bear and bears. We have started to read our new text and in our Art lesson we have drawn pictures of bears hibernating. Our friends have joined us at home, listening to the text read by our teacher and joining in our Art lesson too.
