The children also had the opportunity to handle original artefacts from the Egyptian era (most of which were over 4000 years old!). The children were impeccably behaved and really started to become archeaologists themselves, working what the objects were and who they might have been used by.
Other activities were shabti and amulet making, a workshop about Ancient Egyptian gods and goddesses and a quick look around the Natural History exhibit which was full of animals and a trip to the gift shop was also enjoyed by all! A big thank you to all of the helpers who came on the trip with us too!
