We have continued our topic of plants in science by planting sunflower and carrot seeds. We have also observed what happens to plants when they are deprived of either light, water or soil and recorded our findings. There have been different types of plants we have learnt about including meat-eating plants that we have designed.

This week we have carried on with our art lessons that we have been doing for our home learning but all together now at school! We began by looking at making artwork using circles and semi-circles. Here are some of patterns that we have made. To celebrate World Book Day this week we have been writing our own mythical creature stories, making them into books, writing poems about our creatures and also wrote instructions to make our own potions using magical and mysterious ingredients onto 'old paper'. We also recommended our favourite stories that we love to read. Here are some of the examples from our friends in class and at home. |
