This half term we have been learning about forces and magnets. We have been investigating which materials are magnetic and how we could attempt to recreate a compass using magnets.
In our History today we have been learning about the great pyramids of Egypt. To start our learning we were given a random amount of cubes, which we had to build a pyramid using all the cubes. It wasn't easy at times- here are some of the pyramids that we have made!
We have started our new unit in RE about Sikhism. We have started to learn about the word equality and what it means. In our lesson we all started with the same size ball of clay and had to then make our own pot design. We discovered that even though we all started off with the same, all of our pots were very different.
This half term in our science lessons we are learning all about forces and magnets. This week we used our knowledge of the different forces to test out a toy car on five surfaces - wood, paper, foam, foil and sandpaper to see which surface created the most friction.
