Today in our science lesson we set up a comparative fair test to see what requirements plants need to grow and survive. For each plant we took away one key element to see how they survive the coming weeks. One with no water, one with no air, one with a low temperature, one with no light and one with no soil. These are the learning gems we have used today.
We have been celebrating the winners of our learning gem awards along with our maths homework and reading awards. Well done to our winners!
This half term we are learning about Christianity and what do Christians mean when they talk about the Kingdom of God. We made crowns to see how important we felt wearing a crown and do they make us feel like a king. Does the best crown make the best king? We used these learning gems today.
This week we went to the Suffolk Farm and Country Fair visiting many activities that we participated in. We were given two trees which we planted on our school field These are the learning gems we used today
Our classroom is ready for our new topic this term of the Ancient Egyptians. We will be reading Flat Stanley and the Great Egyptian Grave Robbery in our guided reading lessons linking this to our English lessons too.
