Today we completed our unit for maths of mass and capacity by finding out the mass or items around the classroom and measuring the capacity and volume of various containers.

Today we have been archaeologists looking at different artefacts and clues about how impressive the Iron Age was compared to the Bronze Age. We made tools, coins, jewellery, roundhouses and also had a go at weaving. These are the learning gems we used today. These are the learning gems we used today. We are currently learning about forces and magnets in this term’s science unit. This week in our science lesson we tested out different materials for road surfaces to see which ones were the best. We looked to see how smooth the surfaces were for the cars to travel along and how strong they would be. These are the learning gems we used. This week we have been writing our own instructions of how to make a marmalade sandwich, just like Paddington Bear likes to eat. We made a booklet with our set of instructions in and then made our own sandwiches following the instructions we had written. These are the learning gems we used today. |
