Now, it may have been the last day of school before Christmas holidays started and we may have been having a Christmas party in the afternoon, but neither of those things stopped us from doing some work in the morning! Our DT topic for this half term was Dips and Dippers and after exploring ready-made dips we had come up with some dip recipes of our own. This morning we got a chance to make the dips ready to taste at our Christmas party.

Here are some of the finished dips. They were very critical of their own dips - one of the design criteria was that it had to be 'dippable' (we needed to be able to dip something in it and for the dip to stick to the dipper), 1 group noticed quite quickly that their dip didn't do that, so if they were to make it again have decided that the dip needs to be thicker.
