This week in SPaG we were looking at contractions. A contraction is two words shortened into one using an apostrophe. We learnt that there had been a terrible accident and we needed to turn into surgeons to fix the broken contractions. The children quickly set to work with their masks on and had to think carefully about which letters to remove from the words. We heard our patients heartbeating in the background which made us work at a good pace to ensure we saved them! | |
