"I will put in the box, a thundering, rainy, lightning sky that will never move"
"I will put in the box, the tweet of a tiger trying to roar in the vast jungle"
"I will put in the box, the splash of the flood coming past the city"

Branson have settled in really well to Year 3! We have been very busy impressing Miss Winton with what we can do and have already produced some fantastic work. In literacy, we have started to look at a poem called 'The Magic Box'. It uses lots of language based on our senses and we have discovered some brilliant words! We have had a go at writing some lines of poetry based on what we can hear in our own magic boxes. "I will put in the box, the first cry of a baby in a delicate glass jar"
"I will put in the box, a thundering, rainy, lightning sky that will never move" "I will put in the box, the tweet of a tiger trying to roar in the vast jungle" "I will put in the box, the splash of the flood coming past the city" What do you think?
