On a Thursday after school Mr Childs offers a Reception only sports club, this week the children experienced basketball. Well Done! Our Sports Star of the Week. There are still two places left for the club. See Mrs Ross or Mr Childs for further information.
In music this week we sang an old favourite- Old MacDonald had a farm. As an added twist and to further our understanding of using musical instruments, the last verse was a little bit different.
Old MacDonald had a farm E-I-E-I-O And on that farm he had a glock E-I-E-I-O With a (G G) here And a (G G) there Play (G G G G) Old MacDonald had a farm E-I-E-I-O. Of course a glock is a glockenspiel and G is the musical note we all had to play. Today three children brought in items to share with the rest of the class. Kate shared two brochures of places that she had recently visited. Mrs Ross now wants a class visit to Yorkshire!! Lewis shared his diary of his visits to London and Dinosaur Adventure. Mrs Ross now wants to go to London and to see the dinosaurs!! Charlie bought in certificates and a trophy won by his Husky dogs. They achieved 4th and 1st places. Well done 'Zeus' and Charlie. Charlie has a very exciting hobby, he and his family race with Husky dogs. |
