We will be sending Homework home with the children on Thursday (29/11/18) in a blue folder. At this stage, the homework will focus on phonics, and may move onto Maths work later on. The children will also be given a 'sound fan' which they will need to use to complete their homework. Please could you work through the sheet with your child, and provide support where needed. We also ask that you write a few words at the bottom of the page to let us know how your child got on.

As the KS1 Christmas production is of course getting closer and closer, and rehearsals are now in full swing, we would now like to ask that any remaining costumes are sent in with the your child(ren) as soon as possible.
Many thanks, The KS1 team. You may have noticed that there have been no 'cooking' update on her for the last couple of weeks.
Well, the children have been busy making some Christmas surprises for you!.....but shh you don't know a thing! As you may of read on our classroom door, due to rehearsing our Christmas production, as of next week, one of our P.E sessions has changed to a Monday afternoon, we will also still have PE on a Friday morning as usual. This will probably up until the Christmas holidays.
As always, please make sure your child has their PE kit in school all week. Many thanks, Miss Rushbrooke This morning, we had a 'learning gems' assembly, where 7 members of each class were awarded a different 'gem' for displaying certain qualities. Each of the 7 chosen children were awarded a certificate and a badge for the efforts. Well done to all who won!
