We were lucky enough to meet Lewis Ludlam's dad today. He told us how Lewis became a famous rugby player. We even got to see him world cup medal! 😁

Year 1 had a tractor come to visit today and Mrs Stockdale kindly let us go and see it! As it was so cold today, we enjoyed hot chocolate whilst playing in the Wild wood! 😁 As part of our space topic we've been exploring Planet Earth. The children enjoyed trying to make this World puzzle. They had to use lots of problem solving skills as well as examining the puzzle pieces carefully.
Diako, Jacob and Stanley very kindly came to make Salt dough snowmen with us Thursday afternoon. It was so much fun rolling, stretching and shaping the salt dough. We loved seeing our friends from Year 6 and creating some fab snowmen! We baked cheesy star biscuits this week with Mrs White and Alex. They smelt and tasted delicious!! We had a great (but cold) morning in the Wild Wood. We completed Autumn hunt checklists, made dens, found one less than numbers and created nature collages! This year we've started a new project where Reception have a Year 6 buddy! Our first activity was a shared lunch with our buddies. Both Year 6 and Reception seemed to really enjoy themselves. I was so proud of both classes.
