Will his hiding spot be as good tomorrow?!....
Can you spot Jingle in the photograph?......We all had trouble trying to find him this morning......he had chosen a very good hiding spot....until he was eventually spotted by one of the children amongst our Nativity scene! A good hiding spot Jingle!

When the children came into the classroom this morning, it took a little while for Jingle to be found...but he was then spotted by Oliver....just hanging around on our numberline!
What will he be up to tomorrow?! The children AND Mrs Ross were quite horrified this morning when they found Jungle siting inside our biscuit tin.....having eaten nearly all of the biscuits!...and we only put a new packet of biscuits in yesterday!
We think Jingle may feel rather sick later!....lets hope we have some more biscuits in the cupboard fro our afternoon snack! Mrs Ross said that if Jingle continues to get up to mischief, we need to send him up to her office, and she will have a word with him! This morning, the children came into find that Jingle the Elf had made rather a mess! He had thrown the tissues out of the tissue box, climbed in and made himself a bed!.....he must be tired from all that Nativity practise!
The children came into the classroom this morning to find a very cheeky Jingle, sitting on the sofa with the register, and a 'helper of the day' sticker stuck to him!
We let him be our third helper of the day, along with Jasper and Alexis. Jingle is going back to the North Pole for the weekend, and will be back to his tricks in the classroom on Monday morning! Today, the children came into the classroom, and had a little trouble trying to find where Jingle the Elf was hiding! After a little while, one of the children spotted him......in our raffle ticket jar! He had even written himself 2 raffle tickets!
Where will he be hiding tomorrow?!....... We are having our class Christmas party on Tuesday 18th December in the afternoon. There is party food list up on the door the children out of at the end of the day. We would be very grateful if you could sign up.
The children may bring in 'party clothes' to change into after lunchtime on the day. Many thanks Today, when the children came into the classroom, hung their belongings up and then went to put their name on the lunch board, they found that their names were not there!........Jingle the Elf had been up to his tricks again and had moved them! He had stuck them to the whiteboard!
What will he do tomorrow... This afternoon, we received an email from Santa asking for our help. His sleigh had been broken and his Elves were too busy making toys for Christmas to make him another one....so he turned to us!
In small groups, we worked together to write back to Santa, telling him that we could help him, and gave some clues about what his new sleigh would be made out of, and some possible new design features! Everyone worked really hard.....and our next step will be to send him our new sleigh designs. This morning when the children came into the classroom, they found that Jingle the Elf had made rather a mess! Over night, he had got the flour out of the kitchen cupboard and used it to make a 'Snow Angel' on the table. We had to clear it all up before we could start our handwriting!
We are wondering what mischief he will get up to tomorrow!.... |
