Today, we had another special visitor in Hughes class. Corinne's grandma Lynn came in to speak to us about the toys and games she used to play with when she was a little girl.
We found that some of the toys were very different to what we have today such as 'Jacks' and some were similar, such as skipping ropes.
Grandma Lynn bought in a very special and precious teddy bear to show us. We carefully passed the bear around to have a look at, and found that his fur was soft, but he did not feel 'squishy' like our teddy bears today, but rather hard. Grandma Lynn told us his tummy felt a bit hard because he had sawdust inside him!
